SpiderZMeN Firefox Add-ons

A lot of you must be wondering what tools or add-ons should be used to optimize the use of Mozilla Firefox. Here is a list of my add-ons that I think you should try. Some of it are quite useful for all the programmers and web developers out there(not forgotting hackers also). =)

According to alphabetical order:

1. Add N Edit Cookies
- Add cookies, edits cookies values and expiration dates, toolbar button. Useful during hacking. Google it if searching for tutorial.

2. Cooliris
- This is just a plug-in that can make a "3D Wall" for your image browsing. I've used it for Google, Friendster, Myspace, Facebook, Picasa, Flikr and much more. Anything that is related with images hosting, albums and etc.

3. DownThemAll!
- Yeahh! I've used DownThemAll since 2007 and I don't have any ranting about it. DownThemAll (or just dTa) is a powerful yet easy-to-use Mozilla Firefox extension that adds new advanced download capabilities to your browser. DownThemAll lets you download all the links or images contained in a webpage and much more: you can refine your downloads by fully customizable criteria to get only what you really want. DownThemAll is all you can desire from a download manager: it features an advanced accelerator that increases speed up to 400%, it allows you to pause and resume downloads at any time and, last but not least, it's fully integrated into your favorite browser!

4. FEBE(Firefox Environment Backup Extension)
- This is better than any backup add-ons I've tried. It can backup every single thing in your Mozilla Firefox, in case of formatting or windows error. It can backup your extensions(add-ons),themes,bookmarks,preferences,cookies,usernames and passwords, search plugins, browser history, form fill history,permissions...and also your very own user-defined backups. It is also great because it has the ability to host your backup files in your Box.net hosting account. If you don't have any Box.net account, you can register it for free HERE.

5. Feed Sidebar
- It helps you display new items in your Live Bookmark(feeds). It's has a refresher that let you define whether you want it to check for new feeds every 30 minutes or more.

6. Firebug
- This is a powerful plugin which let you edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I really really like it because it can be used in web development and it has no boundaries. What's really good about it is we can edit any webpage LIVE!! LOL

7. Fire Uploader
- It is a universal uploader. Currently you can use it to upload bulk files to Box.net, Flickr, Picasa, Youtube, Facebook, Webshots, Omnidrive, Smugmug, SME Storage, Google Docs, Snaphappi, Adbobe, Slideshare.

8. FoxyProxy
- Honestly, at first, I didn't know what the heck is this plugin about because it is quite complicated. But eventually as I learn more, it is used as a proxy management for your use during surfing the net. FoxyProxy automates the manual process of editing Firefox's Connection Settings dialog. You can define which proxy to use (or none!) for arbitrary URLs using wildcards, regular expressions, whitelists, blacklists, and other conveniences. It's just GREAT! haha

9. Greasemonkey
- Greasemonkey is a Firefox extension that allows you to customize the way webpages look and function. Hundreds of scripts are already available for free. And if you're the tinkerer sort, you can also write your own. And believe me, every webpage is customizable for your own taste. =D

10. ShowIP
- It shows the IP Address of the current page in your status bar and allows queries to different databases about it when you right click on it. You can also get information about the hostname of the current page. Yeahh!!

11. User Agent Switcher
- You can switch the user agent of the browser. Example: change to IE7, Netscape 4.8, Opera 9.25. Also useful for hacking website.

That's all. This is just a recommendation. Try Google them and look for yourselves. Bye!
